That Claudia yarn is yum. I just bought some–of course I haven’t yet finished my first pair of socks (I’m on #2 right now) and I am a FAR slower knitter than you but I believe I might be addicted to sock yarn. I am quite impressed with (and jealous of) your prowess and I love seeing the FO–keep them coming. But not too fast–my little green monster can’t stand it! ;-)

I can totally imagine the frustration of not being able to show something you’re proud of and excited about. After this initial annoyance you’ll forget all about it, though, and when you finally get to reveal it it’ll seem like a bonus FO for the blog.

wow, you are fast! i finished one sock in about a week and i thought that was moving at a good clip :) i’m on such a sock kick right now. i could knit on them for days and be totally happy.

Let me get this straight – you’re standing up, holding a padded envelope under one arm and knitting with both hands. Somewhere there’s a ball of yarn, right? (Even muggles know there’s got to be a ball of yarn around when knitting happens.) I’m guessing you also had a bag or a purse, too. And somehow you also managed to get out a camera and get a picture? Assuming you had to ask another person in line to take it, there’s usually some instruction necessary. HOW did you manage all that?

You are FAST. The post office is definitely a good place for knitting. Every time I go, there are 578934579348 postal workers working behind the desk, 578934758934 customers in line and 2 windows open. :-)

I can’t wait to see the finished socks! If I lived anywhere near MDS&W, I would definitely be there. You should go. :-)
