If you recall my last skirt, the Snapping Turtle, well, it was hugging my then-minimal curves. My curves have gotten a bit bigger now that I’m in Singapore—you have been reading about all my food adventures, after all. Yes, in Singapore I need a swishy, hide-all-evils skirt.
I cast this on at 11:30 yesterday morning . . . worked on it idly during the day while working and doing some intense housecleaning . . . and was all but completely done at 9:30. I admit, even I was shocked.
It’s no secret that I adore the Pomatomus sock pattern. It was the first pair of socks I ever knit, and then I went and engineered a pair that had mirrored scallops—my most proud knit to date. The whole Mermaid/Nereid fingerless mitts done up with the Pomatomus scallops was definitely too much to resist. But who was worthy?
