amazing what you can accomplish when you put your mind to something
Finished knitting the baby cardigan last night. Couldn’t get excited about sewing it up (when do I ever get excited about sewing up knitted pieces?), so I started on a baby bootee to go with.
I’ll take more pictures later today. It’s really cloudy out this morning, so the light in the apartment sucks. But it’s going to be a high of 82! So I’ll take the little bit of clouds, no problem.

Good Morning Minty,
Thank you for checking out my blog. I am a new woman now that my stash has some semblance of order.
Your baby jacket looks great. Looking forward to seeing the matching booties.

Ugh, seaming is the worst. You always think, as you finish up the last bit of knitting, that you’re just moments away from the finished object, but then you’re faced with hours of unfun finishing. I’m definitely starting to favor in-the-round patterns more and more for that reason.
The jacket looks great, though! And I bet the booties will be a great touch. I’ve never made booties myself…I should try some.
Hooray for you! It is the nicest feeling to have an FO. I’m with you on the seaming, which is why Tivoli had my name all over it. Anyhow, your baby sweater looks lovely and now you can enjoy the second nicest feeling in knitting, the excitement of starting something new. Then again, maybe that’s the nicest feeling.
