And here they are, in my dark-apartment glory. I finished them on Friday and blocked them to get the kinks out (the design process took a few tries with these), and was determined to post them today even though it’s overcast and gray (thus not much light in the apartment) and too cold to do an outdoor shoot.
Taken with my camera phone. The day I took these pictures at M&J Trimmings was the first time in 2007 I didn’t have my camera on me! They’re not as pretty, perhaps, but they’re still cool. The top one is now the background on my phone, and makes me smile whenever I open it up.
A three-part post, in which I fear the loss of something dear, I think about replacing them, but I find them, so I don’t bother making anything new.
Ok, they’re not fully finished yet, but the first sock is essentially complete, so now’s as good a time as any to share with you guys.
