tivoli: all done
Ok, it’s time to wrap this baby up.
Tivoli T by Grumperina; participated in the KAL
- Knit Picks Shine in Cream
- Size 5 needles (Addi Turbos)
- Started out with 144 stitches, but proceeded with increases per the pattern
- Did 3 inches of straight knitting at the waist (as opposed to the prescribed 2″)
- Did an extra 1/2 inch or so at the bottom
- Steam blocked with a hot iron
Bottom continues to curl just a bit with wear–it rolls up along the edge of my pants. It’s not a big deal. Super comfy. Success!

Your Tivoli looks great – I was nervous about making it because of the length but now that I’ve seen yours I think I might give it a try with the extra rounds you added.
I’m hoping to work on my USM sweater tomorrow night and give the revised neckline another shot – I’ll see if I can come up with something that makes a sorta V neck – but I sense a bit frogging in my future!
It looks great on you. You are going to get a lot of compliments on it.

That looks so nice. I really like that cream color. I have a hard time finding a cream that isn’t too yellow, but it looks like the Shine is very nice. I’ll have to try some!
that looks so beautiful! it makes me want to try to knit it!
Peachy, you totally could knit this. It’s a super-straightforward pattern. (And it’s free!)
what size did you make for yourself? did you order the yarn from the link you listed?
I made the 35″ size–don’t remember if that’s the small or medium. I did order my yarn from knitpicks, my latest favorite online source.
