Yesterday, my friend L and I got together for a crafting afternoon. Our mission? Freezer paper stenciling onesies. i’m sure there are tutorials out there on the web, but I didn’t quickly find one when I briefly looked for it, so here is my brief guide to using freezer paper stencils to paint adorableness onto clothing. It’s super easy, and you’ll figure it out yourself, but it’s nice to know you’re on the right track, I think.

I finished another pair of socks this weekend. In fact, I started them late on Saturday the 3rd (did the toe while watching a movie with a friend) and officially finished them Friday night. I blocked them this past Saturday, and they were dry and ready to go by this morning. (Hello, how’s that for a fast pair of socks! One week, start to finish.) Here’s a photo of the start of the second sock, which I worked on while waiting in line at the post office. (And can I just say that the post office features the world’s slowest-moving lines that are completely full of little old ladies . . . and that night, me. On the plus side, I got about 3/4 of an inch knit while in line!)
And here they are, in my dark-apartment glory. I finished them on Friday and blocked them to get the kinks out (the design process took a few tries with these), and was determined to post them today even though it’s overcast and gray (thus not much light in the apartment) and too cold to do an outdoor shoot.
